The workout is based on creating more power for the individual through a 1-rep maximum.  The workout does this by concentrating on a very powerful and effective bodybuilding movement known as the dead lift.  However, one should not quickly dismiss the workout as a single movement workout because it starts with a series of movements before the culminating movement of the famous dead lift.  First off, Jason starts with his warm-ups.  Jason’s warm-up routine begins with a trip to the rowing machine.  While in the rowing machine, he normally recommends that you stay within the 20 strokes per minute range.  This will allow your muscles responsible for doing the rowing movements to feel the resistance.  Jason has done around 10 minutes with the rowing machine and with an average distance of about 2,200 meters.  The next part is the second tier of warm-up exercises.  You will use three movements in this Jason Statham workout warm-up routine.  The Pushup, Pull-up and the body squat will be your three exercise movements.  Perform each exercise at one rep in succession this will form one set. In each set, you add reps to each exercise thus creating a “pyramid effect”.   Now you are done with the Jason Statham workout warm-up.

The Main Jason Statham Workout Routine

The main workout is bent to train the whole body by integrating exercise movements that involve multiple muscle groups at the same time.  Start with a Ring Dip hold, wherein you hold yourself at the top position of a regular dip for a specified time. After this, follow it with a kettle bell farm hold by holding the weights on your sides at arm’s length.  The workout can be very tasking at first but as you go along you will notice marked improvements in your performance.  After the two exercises, perform an L-sit movement on parallel bars, hold this position.  Finish it with a body squat hold also for a specific time.  This main workout makes up a one-day full workout, which will be alternated with presses, dips, pull-ups, and farmer carries with 75 lbs weights on both hands.   The key element in the Jason Statham workout is to never repeat an exercise movement in any day. There must always be variation so the muscle is not accustomed to the rigors of the Jason Statham workout.
